The Health and Safety At Work Act (HASWA) 1974
Was a turning point for workplace health and safety in the UK. HASWA provides the basics for most subsequent regulations.
The HSE use HASWA during prosecutions as (unlike most regulations), HASWA has unlimited fines and jail time.
The Health and Safety At Work Act 1974
The Building Safety Act 2022
This act is a result of the Dame Judith Hackitt report “Building a Safer Futre”, based on the lessons learned from the Grenfell Tower Disaster in June 2017. This act has had a profound effect on the build environment industry, from project inception through to building occupancy.
ASP have a two hour course delivered via Teams, which covers all aspects of this important piece of legislation. Please contact us to organise a convenient date and time.
