The National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety (CN) Contents include;

Examination
Nebosh use an Open Book Examinations (OBE’s) to assess the CN module, giving you 48 hours to complete the test, with unlimited access to materials and resources, including Internet research and searches. It is not invigilated.
The OBE is based on a construciton site scenario where health and safety practices are may be quite poor. You play the role of a health and safety person who must identify the issues and motivate management to deploy the necessary resources to bring health and safety standards to an acceptable level.
The OBE also includes the need to perform a site inspection (a risk assessment exercise) based on the scenario.
Your Tutor is also required to conduct a “Closing Interview” and send the results to Nebosh. This is a simple 15 minute interview, conducted remotely, where your Tutor asks a few simple questions to ensure that you have written the OBE answers yourself. This is in lieu of invigilation.
