Compliance with 45001/9001/14001
ISO 45001 is an international health and safety standard replacing the previous OHSAS 18001 benchmark. Companies currently complying with OHSAS 18001 will need to move over to ISO 45001 by March 2021 to maintain their accreditation.
Conversely, companies without OHSAS18001 but seeking to demonstrate compliance with health and safety law at best practice level must now comply with ISO45001 standards.
ISO45001 introduces several new focuses, including complete commitment from board members and senior management, based on the now industry standard of the “Plan-Do-Check-Act” process control model.
Under ISO45001, senior executives can now be audited – this is a new requirement and has been included to ensure that engagement in a pro-active, positive health and safety culture is implemented from the top of the business hierarchy and permeates all levels of company administration.
We have the necessary competencies and experience to assist you in either the transition from OHSAS18001 to ISO45001 or to assist you to become ISO45001 accredited from scratch.
